Between February 25 and April 4, the Savannah Jewish Cultural Arts Festival will host a variety of films, speakers, meals, artists, music and more, all to illuminate Jewish culture, right here in Savannah.
As part of the festival, the Joan & Murray Gefen Memorial Savannah Jewish Film Festival will continue to be an integral part of the fabric of our community, as it has for over 20 years. From comedies to poignant dramas and documentaries, each film has helps to promote and celebrate our diverse Jewish history.
Eleven films plus dozens of shorts will be shown throughout the month. Be sure to come by the JEA each Friday for the Chai Coffee Bar and then stay to watch Shorts on Shabbat (bonus, if you RSVP 24 hours in advance, you will leave with a delicious challah from Tzila Lemberger). You can attend one of the cooking or art classes. Or, check out one of the events at Front Porch Improv. And, you won’t want to miss the Jewish Authors Panel at the new E. Shaver’s Bookstore with host Jessica Leigh Lebos.
While you are checking out all of the options, check out the sponsorship opportunities. Your sponsorship makes it possible for us to provide this unique and meaningful celebration of Jewish Cultural Arts. Click here to see the Friends of the Festival opportunities.
