Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance) Writing & Art Contest

Each year, the Savannah Jewish Federation invites Chatham County middle and high school students to participate in a Holocaust writing and art contest.  Teachers throughout Savannah took time to teach about this important and difficult subject to teach the next generation of leaders so history does not repeat itself.
Students were asked to use their creativity to express the difficult and inspiring lessons of the Holocaust. Due to this challenging year, the subject of the contest was more open than in years past. Students could enter the writing contest by submitting a poem, newspaper article, story, play/dialogue or essay OR enter the art contest.

All who entered the contest did a fabulous job.  Congratulations to the winners!
