HEALTH & SOCIAL SERVICE FUNDS

Jewish Family Services Fund - This fund will be used to provide financial assistance to clients of the Federation's Jewish Family Services agency and/or for other needs of JFS as prioritized by the Committee overseeing JFS, in conjunction with the Federation Board of Governors.

Leon & Barbara Aronson Jewish Family Services Fund - This fund was established to provide for community members in need.

Benzion & Jennie Baruch Endowment Fund for the Needy - Shall be used for the benefit of needy individuals of all ages in the Savannah Jewish community.

Irene & Lee Braun Fund for Social Services - Income will be used for food, clothing and medical care for children and the elderly that are in need in our community.

Charles & Josephine Glauber Fund - Income will be used for senior needs in the Savannah Jewish community.

AM & John W. Goldkrand Savannah Healthcare Fund - Income (only) shall be used to benefit healthcare needs for Jewish women in the Greater Savannah community who would not be otherwise able to afford treatment/care.

Carol & Joel Greenberg Health Resource Fund - Donations will be used to raise awareness of screening and preventative measures for a variety of illnesses, especially those affecting the Jewish community.

Hebrew G'milut Chesed Fund - Income from this fund may be used to benefit needy members of the Savannah Jewish community.

Stephen D. Hollenberg Patient Assistance Fund - Fund provides financial assistance to cancer patients who are unable to afford the ancillary costs of their cancer treatment.

Abe & Ethel Kamine Senior Meals Fund - Income will be used to subsidize meals for seniors.

Annie Shapiro Lowenkopf & Walter Lowenkopf Fund for the Visually Impaired - Funds will be used to help needy Jewish children in Savannah, Israel and around the world.

Timothy Rubnitz Memorial Fund - This fund will assist young families in need. Priority given to children in need of bedroom furniture or equipment or supplies for school or sports.

Ralph & Pauline Tenenbaum Fund for Social Services - Income will be used to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the Savannah Jewish community.

Tikvah Fund for Jewish Family Services - A permanently endowed fund. Income will be used to support Jewish Family Services. Donations matched dollar-for-dollar.

HOLOCAUST EDUCATION

Dena Yaschik Bodziner Memorial Fund- Income shall be used to perpetuate the memory of the Holocaust and Jewish survival through education.

Matthew J. Cranman Holocaust Teacher Education Fund

Sherry Dolgoff Holocaust Art & Writing Contest Fund- Created to support the annual Holocaust Art & Writing Contest throughout the Savannah community in honor of Sherry Dolgoff and her lifelong commitment to "Always Remember"

CULTURAL FUNDS

Savannah Jewish Archives - Income is used to help fund a professional archivist and appropriate storage to maintain the historical records of the Savannah Jewish community.

Joan & Murray Gefen Savannah Jewish Film Festival Fund - Income from this fund will go to support an annual Jewish Film Festival in Savannah in memory of Joan & Murray Gefen.

Dr. Joel A. Greenberg Diversity, Dialogue, Debate Fund - Created to encourage education and discussion bridging ethnic, racial, and religious differences.

Jane & Buddy Kahn General Fund

Lawrence Konter & Bertram Weiland Cultural Arts Fund - Income will be used to sponsor top quality cultural events for the Savannah Jewish community.

Muriel Maida Arts Scholarship Fund

Phillipa Sherman Montag and James Lee Montag Jewish Educational & Cultural Fund -Income will be used to strengthen the Jewish identity of young Jews attending college in the Savannah area and the Jewish identities of Young Jewish Professionals living in the Savannah area by providing a source of funds to be used by the Savannah Jewish Federation for educational, social, religious and cultural programs for these two designated groups.

Steirn Fund for Contemporary Jewish Music - Income shall be used by any Jewish organization in Savannah and outlying areas for the purpose of bringing contemporary Jewish musical performances to the area.

CHILDREN & TEEN FUNDS

Kay Becker Israel Fund - Income will provide scholarship/subsidy to teens for travel to Israel on a peer group trip.

"Uncle" Max Handshu Rambam Preschool Fund - Income will be used to provide educational materials, equipment and/or scholarships for Rambam preschool students.

Madeline H. Richman Fund - Income will be used to benefit Jewish Teen Programming in Savannah - a cause that is close to Jamie & Steven Richman, who met in high school through a Jewish youth group.

David & Rene' Rubnitz Memorial Fund-Created to provide for post high school scholarships for members of the Jewish community.

Dora & Selma Salkin Memorial Fund - Income may be used for the education of young people.

Ashley Samuels Children & Youth Activities Fund - Income will support the JEA Children's Programming.

Jacob & Ida Ulman College Scholarship Fund - Provides college financial assistance to qualified Jewish students.

FUNDS TO BENEFIT THE JEWISH EDUCATIONAL ALLIANCE

Jacob Bluestein Fund - Income will be used to provide general support for the JEA or its successor organization as directed by its Board of Directors.

Israel Dombrow Fund for Jewish Children - Income shall be used to provide scholarships for Jewish children to partake in camping, after school or sports programs sponsored or provided by the JEA or Jewish community.

Lloyd and Sandra Goodman JEA General Fund - Income from this fund may be used to support priority needs of the JEA as determined by the JEA Board of Directors.

Harriet Kanter Konter Young at Heart Fund - For the benefit of senior adults

Betty & Larry Lasky JEA Preschool Fund

JEA Fred & Rene Lehrberger Fund for Children's Community Services - Income will be used for the Second Harvest Food Bank and to provide financial assistance for needy children for after school & childcare programs at the JEA.

Dayle & Aaron Levy Fund - Funds to be used to support the programs and activities of the JEA.

Barbara & Leon Longwater JEA Fund - Funds shall be used to cover the expenses of JEA basketball teams, in honor of Leon Longwater, on an annual basis.

Murray C. Perlman Memorial Fund

David Portman Memorial Fund - Funds will be used for programming and/or for the purchase of equipment for children and teens at the JEA.

Julius Rudikoff Health Club & Athletic Fund - Funds will be used to support JEA Health Club and/or Fitness Facilities.

Isadore (Junior) Scheer JEA Children's Scholarship Fund - Income from this fund will be used for support of children, youth and camp services, programs and supplies at the JEA.

Sarah & Sam Steinberg Family JEA Camp Fund - Income will be used for JEA camp scholarships for those needing assistance.

Weinberg JEA Building Fund - Income is used for support of the JEA facility needs, as well as to provide programs and services for low income families at the JEA.
