David Makovsky is the Ziegler distinguished fellow and director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy Project on the Middle East Peace Process. In addition, he is adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University's Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in the Middle Eastern studies program.
