Join Savannah Jewish Federation for this long awaited engagement as we welcome Mr. Brendan Murphy, educator at The Marist School, for his lecture “ Why The Jews?” This multimedia presentation examines the long and tragic history of antisemitism. Among his many accolades, Mr. Murphy has received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Anne Frank Center, the Abe Goldstein Human Relations Award and Unsung Hero Award from the Anti-Defamation League, 2009 and 2016 Georgia Outstanding Educator of the Year by the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust, and Educator of the Year from the University of Notre Dame. Brendan is also a Teacher Fellow at the United States Holocaust Museum and Lerner Fellow at the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous in New York.
